Emily Kucukalic created the Brand New You Group in 2009. It is now Australia’s number one personal branding agency. She was the Group Head of Brand and External Relations at AGL Energy and a member of the Executive Team. She worked across Asia Pacific for EDS and BP. In 2017, Brand New You were awarded an Australian Marketing Institute Award for Marketing Excellence for a program that they ran with Westpac. Emily is an Ernst and Young Entrepreneurship Prize winner, a finalist in the Telstra Young Business Woman awards in 2000 and a winner of the Lucent Technologies Leadership awards in 2000, 2001 and 2002. Emily holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours in Marketing from the University of Western Australia. She is currently a member of the NSW Premier’s Register for Boards and Committees, has served as a Board Advisor, Director and was a founding Director of Conversely, a not for profit organisation focused on engaging non working women in Australia. Conversely raised more than $100,000 for charities across Australia. Emily completed her thesis on Marketing to the Gay Consumer in 1995, one of the first of such academic studies conducted in this area. She was the biggest baby in Western Australia at the time of her birth, and lost her crown shortly thereafter.

Terri Reeves commenced as a partner with BNY in 2012. In 2018, Terri worked with Bicycle SA as their Marketing and Communications Leader to build up her capabilities in the not for profit sector. In 2019, she returned to the team to manage our fast growing outsourced marketing business. She develops and implements a wide range of marketing and branding strategies for our corporate clients. Terri has deep expertise in delivering integrated sales and marketing campaigns. Prior to joining BNY, Terri held the position of Head of Corporate Marketing at AGL Energy where she developed and launched the Corporate Brand. Terri was also responsible for developing the Strategic Marketing plan for the corporate business, integrating complex businesses such as Upstream Gas and Merchant Energy. Terri worked with EDS and American Express in strategic marketing roles. She has a wide range of experience in branding, social media, external relations and PR, both in the UK and Australia. She and Emily have a strong working relationship having worked together at EDS, AGL and BNY for more than 20 years. Terri’s collage of her view from her bedroom window was exhibited at the Barbican in London when she was nine years old.

Kylie Laudams is our Head of Design Services. She joined Brand New You in 2012 and heads up all of our creative design. Kylie is our very own, gifted and talented artist and designer. She commenced her career at Davids Holdings (now Metcash), as an artist and then team leader. Following her time with Davids, she moved to Adcorp where she worked for ten years as a graphic designer and, ultimately, as brand guardian for their largest client, Colliers Real Estate. Kylie has worked across brand development and design, press advertising, signage, brochures, newsletters, magazines, research and tender documents. Kylie is a novice wakeboarder and a podcast addict.

Rhys joined the BNY team in 2016. Rhys is an expert at running digital media campaigns and developing and implementing a wide range of marketing and branding strategies for our clients. Rhys holds a Master of Marketing from Deakin University and a Bachelor of Social Science in Psychology and Forensic Science from Swinburne University. If you look closely, there are no vowels in his name!

Ollie is our Marketing Manager. Since coming on board in May 2022, he has built a strong grounding in campaign strategy, content and reporting across the agency, working closely with the wider BNY team to keep client marketing moving day to day. Ollie holds a Bachelor of Commerce with majors in Marketing and Finance. He grew up in Margaret River and is based in Perth. Ask him if the Freo Dockers are winning the flag this year!

Owen is our Marketing Assistant. He joined the BNY team in 2025 and supports the development and delivery of social media and email marketing campaigns for our clients. He assists with creating campaign content, writing marketing copy, and preparing communications tailored to each client’s brand and audience. Owen is currently studying a Bachelor of Accounting at Swinburne University. Owen supports Carlton, a commitment that has taught him the value of patience and perseverance.

Ryan has been working with Brand New You since its inception. A talented web designer and developer, he provides these services to all of BNY’s business clients. He specialises in creating simple, custom designs that support our clients’ brands. In turn, he implements content management systems enabling a seamless handover of content management. Ryan continues to support, maintain and optimise sites once built. Ryan is also a licensed electrician and a founding director of Magnifire, a smart fire panel monitoring company, where he is the lead designer and developer.
